Entertainment: Lady Gaga performance moves to Sydney Entertainment center

Lady Gaga’s Sydney performances scheduled to take place at the Hordern Pavilion in March 2010 will now be held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
In a statement released this morning, Coppel’s have confirmed that there are no changes to the show dates, which remain March 17 and 18.
Lady Gaga has just hit the road with her new, massive live show, the scale of which is now deemed too demanding to be accommodated at the Hordern Pavilion.
Rather than scale back the show for Sydney, it will now be played at the Sydney Entertainment Centre where it can be staged in full. More >
Soccer: Sydney loses to Melbourne in A-League

The two leading teams in Australia’s A-League played a scoreless draw on the weekend, leaving Melbourne still with a three-point lead over Sydney.
In 36-year-old skipper Kevin Muscat’s 500th league match in a 20-year career, the Victory failed to take advantage of numerous scoring chances in front its home fans in Melbourne.
Victory striker Archie Thompson hit the bar in the second minute and put four other good chances either wide or within reach of Sydney goalkeeper Clint Bolton.
“The shots were 21 shots to six, but we weren’t accurate – it wasn’t good-quality shooting,” Melbourne coach Ernie Merrick said. More >
